Acts of Ihram
When a Muslim arrives at the meeqaat for Hajj or Umrah, it
is legitimate for him to do the following: (2)
It is desirable for a Muslim to trim his nails, to cut his
hair, to remove his armpits, and to shave his pubic hair, because of the
hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: "The time for
us the Messenger of Allah - peace be upon him - to cut the mustache, trim the
nails, shaving the pubic, plucking the armpit, not to let More than forty days,
"narrated by the women.
It is desirable for a Muslim to strip himself of his clothes
and wash, because of the hadeeth of Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allaah be pleased with
him) that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered the names of the
daughter of Amis when Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr Bateh al-Halahefa was not allowed
to do ghusl and get dressed in a gown and she was deprived of it, and she said:
"She sent to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be
upon him) , narrated by Muslim.
It is desirable to perfume the best of what is found to be
fat or oud in the head and beard, and does not harm the survival of the good
after Ihram, and that the speech of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her said:
"The Messenger of Allah - peace be upon him - if he wants to deprive the
best of what he finds, Then I saw the perfume in his head and his beard after
that, "Narrated by Muslim.
The hadeeth of 'Abd-Allaah ibn' Umar (may Allaah be pleased
with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"And deprive one of you in a garment, a robe, and a niqab." Narrated
by Ahmad (may Allaah be pleased with him) .
It is desirable for a Muslim to be haraam after the
obligatory prayer, and that is for non-menstruating women and women, if the
time of obligatory prayer is entered, if it is not a time of prayer, he prayed
two rak'ahs.
